The Birds of America is a book by naturalist and painter John James Audubon, containing illustrations of a wide variety of birds of the United States. It was first published as a series in sections between 1827 and 1838, in Edinburgh and London. The book contained 435 full sized and hand colored illustrations.

This beautiful framed artwork is a giclee reproduction of one of those illustrations and is available as a rolled paper print or black wood framed print. Made in the USA using quality materials. Some images may have been cropped slightly from the original illustrations to make them a uniform size and fit standard sized frames easily available at stores like Michaels and Hobby Lobby.

The framed print has the text border cropped off and a plain white 2 border added to give the appearance of a mat. I can also frame the paper with the original text border in a 1 wooden black, brown or white frame. Framed Print is 18x24 external size including the frame. Bright, white photo paper with a satin finish.
