Antique Ceramic Bird Figurine Group of Flamingos Porcelain Statue Cluj-Napoca

  

Totally fascinating one-of-a-kind museum quality art deco style , made before 1920s, totally awesome group of 5 Flamingos is an extremely rare find and comes in a perfect condition, given that it is manufactured more than 100 years ago and survived 2 world wars. The flamingos are featured cleaning feathers and vegetating in the flurishing mangroves.

Made with great realism and attention to the details in the Art Deco style and hand painted in beautiful pastel colours at the famous Cluj-Napoca factory. Marked to the bottom with blue. The figurine is in an immaculate condition given its age. Please note that there are two baking (firing) cracks on the statue base - the smaller one on the front and the larger one on the back of the base, as featured on the photos. Other than that the figurine is in an excellent original condition, with no chips, cracks or wear.
